Buyer
The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines and pioneer in vending management services, has an immediate opening for an experienced Buyer. This position will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and purchasing of materials for production manufacturing. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and have background/experience in design engineering. Duties also include maintaining records of contacts, accounts and orders and entry of orders into MRP/ERP system.

Qualified candidates must have strong negotiation, analytical and project management skills. Bilingual (Spanish) communication skills preferred. Excellent organizational, problem-solving and global sourcing abilities required. Knowledgeable in MS Office programs. PRODUCTION WORKERS
Fawn Manufacturing

Fawn Manufacturing is looking for production workers to start immediately.
Manufacturing experience a plus, but not required. We are looking to fill the following positions:

  • Forklift (2nd Shift)
  • Assembly (2nd shift)
  • Press Operator (2nd shift)



Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 – 75 lbs., physically able to stand for up to (8) hours, do bending, twisting, grasping, and have the ability to grip sheet metal, pick/pack or assemble parts. Must be punctual and have a good attendance record. Education: high school or equivalent.

1st shift positions available: 1st shift (4:00pm - 12:30am). Pay increase and benefits after passing probationary period (120 days). Equal Opportunity Employer

Lawn/Groundskeeper
The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for a Lawn/Groundskeeper. Responsibilities will include: maintaining company grounds; handling debris; assisting with snow removal, landscaping (including weeding and fertilizer applications); assisting in the cleanliness and professional appearance of all common areas and amenities as needed. Maintenance standards include awareness of physical conditions of company related properties and applying corrective actions. Operation of lawn mower/landscaping and snow removal equipment as needed. This is a full-time, year round position.

Qualified candidates will have previous grounds keeping or landscaping experience. Must be mechanically inclined and able to work as part of a team and independently on projects. Demonstrated customer service skills and professionalism in working with all employees, vendors and guests. Position requires availability to work any shift as needed, including weekends and evenings, and report to work in emergency situations. Observation of all safety and sanitation rules when performing job duties is mandatory. Good written and verbal communication skills required. Must possess a valid and current driver’s license. Candidate will be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and possess the ability to complete tasks on a timely basis and follow directions. In addition to grounds keeping, this position will work along with housekeeping, maintenance, mowing crew and farm staff as needed. Sales Lead Management Specialist
Job Summary
The Wittern Group is looking for an experienced Sales Lead Management Specialist with previous customer service and outbound sales experience that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with our sales and marketing teams, and play a fundamental role in sales initiatives with focus on top-of-the-funnel lead generation, lead qualification, prospect management and customer engagement. The Sales Lead Management Specialist will also be responsible for identifying, researching, and managing public sector Federal, State and Local bid opportunities pre and post-solicitation, as well as working with designated sales groups to assist in the capture management and procurement process for public sector contracts.

This role will be responsible for inbound and outbound telemarketing and prospect qualification, therefore excellent telephone, communication, and organizational skills a must as a Sales Lead Management Specialist is expected to average 100 outgoing calls per day. Candidate must be self-motivated and proficient in utilizing technology, engage with new people, and working collaboratively within a team. This is an entry-level full-time sales and marketing role loaded with potential to grow within the organization.

Essential Functions

Identify, research, and manage public sector bid opportunities

Build rapport via engagement with prospects, qualifying, and nurturing them though the top of funnel sales pipeline

Ask appropriate questions to understand customer/prospect needs and requirements

Manage lead acquisition marketing campaigns using marketing technology tools

Remain knowledgeable on all The Wittern Group and its member companies’ service and product value propositions

Route qualified opportunities to appropriate sales account managers for further development and closure

Generate new sales opportunities via inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

Maintain and expand database of prospects within specific market segments and regions

Keep management and sales team informed of all activity through CRM data entry and reporting

Assist with the operational aspects of email marketing programs including campaign setup, deployment and reporting

Support the sales and marketing teams in daily administrative tasks as required

Additional related duties, responsibilities, and project are subject to assignment

Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Education

Associate’s degree or higher in related field (Business, Marketing, Communications, etc.) and one (1) or more year(s) telemarketing, sales, and/or marketing experience (preferred) OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Bilingual communication skills strongly preferred

Proven track record of achieving sales and activity goals

Strong phone presence and experience making unsolicited outbound calls

Experience working with a customer relationship management (CRM) database tool

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills

Strong listening skills and a passion for customer service

High levels of self-directedness, determination, persistence, and optimism

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and completed on deadline

Engineer Internship - Summer 2018
The Wittern Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of automated dispensing equipment for the food service, medical, MRO and PPE markets, has an immediate opening for a Engineer Intern. This internship will be responsible for:

Perform testing of new vending machine embedded electronic control systems hardware, software and communications protocols and document results.

Assist in building prototype electrical/electronic modules, wire harnesses, test equipment and vending machines.

Assist in the development of test plans and procedures in conjunction with an Engineer.

Assist Engineer in investigation of electrical and electronic hardware/ software issues and determination of root cause problem and implementation of corrective action.

Provide support to manufacturing, service and production personnel as needed.

Assist in the investigation and development of potential automated tests using PC hardware, software and wireless interfaces.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years engineering, computer science or technical school experience, with emphasis or interest in electronics, embedded hardware, software and communications protocols.

“Hands on” type of person for work in a product development and testing environment.

Ability to work as a motivated “self-starter”, to work independently and complete work tasks.

Ability to use Microsoft Office suite software in a Microsoft Windows environment.

Familiarity with basic electrical and electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes and handheld digital voltage meters.

Any of the following items are desirable, however, not required:

Embedded 8 or 16 bit microprocessor electronics and software experience using assembler or C/C++ programming language.

Windows PC programming experience.

Smart Phone app development

Windows Serial and USB communications settings and interface.

Windows network communications implementation, setup and utilities.

Familiarity with Windows /Android smart phone communication settings interfaces and utilities.

The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Supervisor in our Assembly department. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools, production control, computer systems applications and personnel management required. Prior experience in assembly line production preferred. This position is on first shift (7:30am – 4:00pm).

Qualified candidates must demonstrate effective mechanical aptitude and previous fabrication and mix model assembly line experience, along with prior experience managing a union workforce. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish) communication skills preferred. Knowledgeable in MS Office programs. Customer Service Specialist

Description of Primary Duties
* Coordinate new vending installations and transitions: add machines to database, coordinate with location and vendor contacts
* Perform quality control surveys as needed
* Maintain system integrity: assure complete documentation of client contacts, properties, vending machine information and task notes
* Handle escalated customer service requests using independent judgment to document concerns and negotiate resolution between client and vendor
* Resolve concerns through direct interaction and negotiation with clients and vendors
* Work with manager to manage open tasks, escalation, priorities
* Complete & assist other assignments as necessary; ex: uploading client info in database
* Assist in collection of vendor commissions
* Assist in new client proposals to gain new business
* Communicate irregularities, conflicts and priorities to management

Key Competencies

* Ability to prioritize & handle multiple tasks concurrently in an environment where distractions may be present
