Electronic Repair Technician
The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for an Electronic Repair Technician with component level repair experience to work in our Waukee facility. Responsibilities include: equipment repair, ordering parts, assist with troubleshooting customer machines, repairing test equipment, building test equipment and repairing control boards. Prior experience in repair/technical service centers preferred. Demonstrated abilities in basic electronics and electricity knowledge, troubleshooting and ability to read blueprints and solder. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word products and the ability to learn new software programs.

Location Account Manager
The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for a Location Account Manager. This newly created position will be responsible for contributing to the strategic growth of our company by leading sales efforts from initial contact through strategy, proposal, presentation and successful conclusion. Duties also include prospect identification, proposal development, negotiations, maintaining accurate records of sales and prospecting activities. Successful candidate will achieve an active pipeline of new business and must be willing to travel domestically to present our services to potential clients.

Qualified candidates must have sales and negotiation experience with a Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent position experience. Excellent presentation skills and comfortable communicating with key decision makers. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Knowledgeable in MS Office programs. This position will be responsible for outbound calling and setting appointments and closing the sale with prospective customers with focus on achieving aggressive performance metrics. Must be able to explain products and services and answer questions in a professional and enthusiastic demeanor when speaking with prospects. Duties also include maintaining records of contacts, accounts and orders and entry of orders into database.

Qualified candidates must have telemarketing, outbound call center or sales experience. Excellent advanced phone etiquette, problem solving and customer service skills required. Maintenance Manager
The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Manager.

This position will be responsible for developing, managing and leading a Best in Class Maintenance and Reliability Organization in close liaison with senior management, plant production and cross functional management representatives. Responsibilities include: providing leadership to ensure maintenance, safety and environmental quality standards are met; organizing and executing preventative maintenance programs for all project work, internal and external building, grounds maintenance and machine repair; manage all vendor contracts as related to department, support implementation of small capital projects, and develop operating systems on lean manufacturing principles.

Qualified candidates must have a degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), with 5 -7 years of experience in engineering/project/maintenance management and industrial plant operations.. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools, production control, computer systems applications and personnel management required. Prior experience in assembly line production required. This position is on second shift (4:00pm – 12:30am).

Qualified candidates must demonstrate a mechanical aptitude and previous Stamping, Turret, and Press Brake experience preferred, along with prior experience managing a union workforce. This position is on first shift (7:30am – 4:00pm).

Quality Engineer
The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer.

This position will be responsible for performing problem-solving investigations related to products and processes to drive corrective and preventive action and establish continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities include: administering the application of quality related tools to drive quality, productivity and cost improvements; guide and supervise employees in the application of sound quality practices and judgment; develop and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) programs and perform process capability studies and evaluation. Position will also be responsible for the execution of manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering activities to include tasks such as line set-up, line balancing and standard work, line process and fixturing improvement development, and driving quality and efficiency initiatives in tandem.

Qualified candidates must have previous quality engineering experience; diversified knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs. Industrial Engineer
The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for an Industrial Engineer.

This newly created position will be responsible for maintaining routing (labor) additions and revisions, support the ECN process with cost information, and monitor/coordinate ECN into the manufacturing process. The successful candidate will have expert knowledge as well as demonstrated ability in Lean manufacturing in order to perform time and motion studies, develop and document standard work, plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives and prepare statistical analysis and project management. This position will utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to improve safety, quality, productivity and costs.

Qualified candidates must have a college degree - Industrial Engineering degree preferred, recent Lean Manufacturing background, with experience in production processes, design techniques, tools and technical plans, knowledge of costs and methods for maximizing the manufacturing process. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint programs. Electrical Engineer
The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer. This position is responsible for performing engineering project management, design and technical support as defined for timely, accurate and cost-effective products. Develop drawings, specifications, part listings and bills of materials for products needed for refinement and expansion. Provide detailed engineering analysis of proposed systems for equipment fabrication, test and start- up. Examine and check submitted design proposals for necessary alterations and corrections. Write specifications of performance for process and equipment to assure the output meets or exceeds safety, QA, production, engineering and development of standards and requirements. Interacts with others on new product designs and new equipment designs.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to write technical documents and specifications. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with opposing opinions and effect compromise. Creative problem solver with a high degree of analytical skills. Knowledge of Electrical theory and design, software and firmware design and control board layout/design.
