Account Executive - USI
The Wittern Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of automated dispensing equipment for the food service, medical, MRO and PPE markets, has an immediate opening for an Account Executive on the U-Select-It (USI) sales team (Western USA Region). This position will be responsible for contributing to the strategic growth of our company by leading sales efforts from initial contact through strategy, proposal, maintaining and developing current distributor base and sales presentations. Duties also include prospect identification, proposal development, negotiations, maintaining accurate records and monitoring warehouse inventory, controlling and managing receivables, and development of sales and prospecting activities. Successful candidate will achieve an active pipeline of new business and must be willing to travel domestically to present our services to potential clients.

Preferred candidates will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience. Position requires excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with key decision makers. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Knowledgeable in MS Office programs. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and be service oriented with proven professionalism and a positive attitude. Distribution/Customer Support Manager
The Wittern Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of automated dispensing equipment for the food service, medical, MRO and PPE markets, has an immediate opening for a Distribution/Customer Support Manager. Responsibilities include: managing and facilitating all customer related issues of finished goods, coordinating documents and information control for customized orders, validating accuracy of orders/shipments to customers, maintenance of shipping information, managing key customer accounts, accountable for inventory and distribution reports. Knowledge of shipping controls, customer service, and data management as related to orders, receiving, transfers and adjustments required. Position also responsible for the daily maintenance of the production schedule in a MRP based system and daily input into system for information pertaining to customer orders.

Qualified candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be computer literate (MS Word, Excel) along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, detail oriented and a team player. Lawn/Groundskeeper
The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for a Lawn/Groundskeeper. Responsibilities will include: maintaining company grounds; handling debris; assisting with snow removal; landscaping (including weeding and fertilizer applications); assisting in the cleanliness and professional appearance of all common areas and amenities as needed. Maintenance standards include awareness of physical conditions of company related properties and applying corrective actions. Operation of snow removal and landscaping equipment as needed. This is a full-time, year round position.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2+ years of previous grounds keeping or landscaping experience. Must be mechanically inclined and able to work as part of a team and independently on projects. Demonstrated customer service skills and professionalism in working with all employees, vendors and guests. Position requires availability to work any shift as needed, including weekends and evenings, and report to work in emergency situations. Observation of all safety and sanitation rules when performing job duties is mandatory. Good written and verbal communication skills required. Must possess a valid and current driver’s license. Candidate will be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and possess the ability to complete tasks on a timely basis and follow directions. In addition to grounds keeping, this position will work along with housekeeping, maintenance, mowing crew and farm staff as needed.

Appointment Setter
The Wittern Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for an Appointment Setter. This position will be part of a team that sets appointments for vending operators over the phone. No selling is required in this position. Work schedule is M – F, no weekends, flexible schedule hours are available. Hourly wage and commission on the equipment placed from your scheduled appointments.

Qualified candidates must have excellent advanced phone etiquette, customer service/phone experience helpful. Knowledge in MS Office programs a plus. Proven professionalism, enthusiasm and a positive attitude required. Bilingual Manufacturing Supervisor – Metal Assembly
The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for a Bilingual Manufacturing Supervisor in our Assembly department. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools, production control, computer systems applications and personnel management required. Prior experience in assembly line production preferred. This position is on first shift (7:30am – 4:00pm).

Qualified candidates must demonstrate bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills, with a mechanical aptitude and previous fabrication and mix model assembly line experience, along with prior experience managing a union workforce. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledgeable in MS Office programs. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and be service oriented with proven professionalism. Senior Design Engineer
The Wittern Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Design Engineer. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field plus 5 years experience with: designing and developing sheet metal components, fabrication, tooling design and material selection addressing customer various product dispensing needs; creating concept designs for conventional and non-conventional vending machine applications; Solid Works CAD. Experience to also include 2 years with: 3D CAD part modeling, advanced assemblies and detailing; creating Parts Manuals/Service Manuals using 3D CAD Models; developing accurate product design and specifications of components in a cost effective manner; lead role in a mechanical design team; APQP standards; Root Cause Analysis; and ECR/ECN processes. Experience to also include 1 year designing for reliability in harsh environments and for agency (cULus, CE, FCC) approvals and electro-mechanical development projects. Job in Des Moines, IA. Quality Engineer Intern (Spring 2017)
The Wittern Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of automated dispensing equipment for the food service, medical, MRO and PPE markets, has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer Intern. This position will be responsible for providing support and assistance in investigation and documentation of corrective actions, perform time studies of production and/or inspection operations, documentation of production and inspection work activities and other projects as assigned.

Preferred candidates will be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Position requires excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate and build relationships and credibility at all levels of the organization. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications and ability to use gages (calipers, micrometers, testing equipment). Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required. Knowledgeable in MS Office programs. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and be service oriented with proven professionalism and a positive attitude.
